Birthday and valentines

b's birthday is on feb 13th. So I gave him his gifts before he went to work and then brought him lunch. He requested NY sub. Which we love and has not had for a while. We went to dinner with his parents  and brothers family at a place called Sissy's. Sissy's has southern fried chicken and is known for their chicken fried steak. It was really good. Also at his office they had a huge cake and we still have cake over here. I took some to my parents house so they could enjoy some and we still have more cake. I think he enjoyed his birthday

Valentine B surprised me with roses, a card, and a box of Girl Scout thin mint cookies yum! I got him an architecture book and a card. I had my grad school class so we celebrated our valentines dinner on Friday night. We had one of our favorite central market dinners and some Gigi's cup cakes from my mom. Weaslo have some brownies that B's Mom made for us. So if you want sweets we have a few around here. It has been a great time of celebrating.

A great weekend and happy valentines day

This past weekend was a lot of fun, and a full weekend. Friday, we went to eat at Chey's. We love to walk from B's place. Then, we came back and just hung out. Saturday, I went to a friends bridal shower at the Zodiac room in Nieman Marcus-downtown. When I got back B and I went to his nephew's basketball game. It was so much fun. At the game before it started they dimmed the lights like in the NBA and introduced the teams. They had two games going at once. They do not keep score yet, and it was fun to watch them play. Saturday afternoon we just drove around and then got some dinner to go and watched You Again, which I thought was really funny. If you have not seen that movie go and see it.

Sunday, was B's birthday. We had a great day full of fun celebration. We went to the boating show, and saw a huge gieco blow up of the geco. It was fun to see that. Also, we went and walked on the Katy trail on the beautiful day it was yesterday. For dinner we went to this great restaurant with B's parents, sister in law and brother. It was a lot of fun. The food was great.

For Valentines day we went and got the Central Market dinner for two. I am looking forward to a great night. Happy Valentines day.

a fun weekend

I am so excited that the weekend is here! This weekend is B's birthday and then there is valentines day. So, I am looking forward to having a lot of fun this weekend

My Birthday

This past weekend was my birthday and it was a great birthday. I had 8 friends that went to dinner with me at Cheesecake factory on Friday night as an early celebration. At the restraunt someone must have told them it was my birthday because the restaurant sang happy birthday to me. I loved that we sat at a large booth where everyone was able to sit together. I think that everyone had a great time just hanging out and celebrating with me. It was so much fun. Saturday I just hung out and did not do much.
Sunday was my real birthday and I started it off by going to church at HPUMC ( highland park united Methodist church) with B. It was a great service and I really thing B enjoyed it a lot, it was his first time to go. Then we went to lunch and just hung out. I went to swim in the afternoon and laid out it was great. In the afternoon we went to pick up my parents from the airport and went to dinner at Houston's. It was a great time. I opened presents too and then just hung out after dinner. It was a lot of fun and I want to thank everyone that helped me celebrate this weekend.
