On Saturday December 17th I had my first wedding shower. It was so much fun! It was held at Neiman Marcus at Northpark Mall. The theme was an ornament shower. The idea came from my aunt. She said that my cousin had this shower when she got married and loved it. The shower was so much fun. It was great to see my friends, my Mom's friend's and B's Mom's friends as well. The lunch was so good and one of my favorites. We had the pop over bread which I LOVE with the strawberry butter and little cup of soup. Then we had the chicken salad yum and cup cakes for dessert.
I have just started to open all of the ornaments that we got and Love them all. They are all so special. I am looking forward to having them on our tree next Christmas. I am saving some of the ornaments to open with Ben and doing the rest with my Mom. The first shower was so much fun and made everything feel more real with the engagement. I am looking forward to the other parties and celebrations before the big day, which will be here before I know it!
