first wedding of the season

Last Saturday, April 14th B and I went to our first wedding of the wedding season. It was a good friend that I grew up with. The wedding was a lot of fun and everyone had a great time. The reception was held at the new DCC which has recently opened. It was so much fun to see a reception there. As you walked in there was a bar at the far end of the entry to the ballroom and a photo booth where everyone could get their pictures taken. The photo booth was a bug hit and a lot of fun. Once in the ballroom there was a band playing in the far end and then there were the cakes and three food stations. The food stations were good and so was the wedding cake. My favorite food station was the one with the potato's and the toppings to go with it. The favor was really fun and unique. It was sun glasses, like the kind that has plastic sides with writing on them. The sides were very colorful and reminded me of the 1990's with the bright colors and on the sides had the bride and groom's name and the wedding date. Very inventive and different. So, that was the start of our wedding season with one wedding down and a few more to go including, ours. This Saturday we are going to another wedding.
