The babies turned 5 weeks on June 24th. Time is flying by. They were moved from the NICU on May 29th to the special care nursery. The difference between the two is that the special care nursery is for babies to learn to eat and work on growing. Also the nurses back off and help the parents learn how to take care of the babies with guidance.
Both babies are setting their own schedule for when they come home. It is up to them and when they each can catch on to eating. They are doing well. Baby A is taking a little longer but getting it and baby B is catching on fast. So we will continue taking things one day at a time and will try to update when they come home.
