10 days

Well we are now at the ten day make until the wedding. I have been given lots of advise from everyone about taking time to enjoy the now. I am trying my best to take things one day at a time and enjoy life before things change. I am excited about this big change in marrying my best friend and can't wait for this new chapter in life and all that it brings. Tuesday, we went down to get our marriage license. We both realized that was the first time either of us had seen one. Also, last Friday we picked up our wedding rings. I feel that these two things make everything seem that much more real and closer. So here is to enjoying the next few days and taking everything in. My next blog post will most likely be after the wedding. Looking forward to continuing to sharing my life so far with all my readers.

18 days....

We are now to the count down until the wedding. From the title you can tell that we have 18 days to go. Pretty much everything is finished by now. We are down to the little things like planning the ceremony which we will do on Friday, and getting our marriage license which we will do on Monday. Then, I plan to just enjoy the time as it flies by.

A little less that one month.....

Well, I have not updated in a while and thought that today would be the day to update the blog. If you could not tell from the title of the blog, in a little less than one moth.... 25 days to be exact..... B and I will be married. I can not believe how fast this past year has gone. We are both looking forward to continue to make fun memories together as a married couple. I feel like the month of May just started and now we are almost to the end of it.

We have had one wedding shower back in December, and two couples party. We have one more wedding shower left and then we will be gearing up for the big weekend. We are finishing up all the loose ends such as ordering the wedding favors, meeting with the minister one last time and getting the marriage license itself.... So, still a few things left but I am ready for everything to be here and just to enjoy the day. So, there it is our update.

second wedding of the season

Last Saturday, April 21st we went to our second wedding of this year. It was a lot of fun. The wedding was the first catholic wedding that we had been to. The reception was at DCC and was so much fun. We had a great time seeing friends and seeing the DCC and how it looked so different from one week to the next. The food was great and it was fun seeing everyone. I really liked how they had the food stations set up and how they had the band set up on the opposite side as the weekend before. It was fun to see one place look so different and have a great time getting ideas too.

Parties, parties and more parties

Last Saturday, we had our first engagement party. It was at a local Mexican food restaurant. We had such a great time catching up with friends and family and celebrating our engagement with them. It made this whole thing feel more real. Also, we sent out our wedding invitations and on Saturday got our very first response. Since then we have gotten more responses and I am sure more wedding gifts. I can not believe we will be married in a little less that two months.
