job search update
I have been searching for a teaching job for a while. I am still looking but I think in the future I will have some job opportunities come my way. I am just waiting and seeing what happens and where I will end up. I am excited about this new opportunity and can not wait to see where I will end up. The hard part is the waiting. I know that all of my friends that are in the same boat as me. So to all of you out there best of luck to you as well.

My advice: Do whatever it takes to get your foot in the door. I started as an archives intern, but got promoted to a version of my current position TWO WEEKS LATER. I was in the right place at the right time, and it never would have happened if I hadn't accepted the internship to keep myself busy while looking for something more permanent. There is no shame in starting at the bottom. It just makes the view that much better when you finally make it to the top!
