A fun night

So, last year I went to the slipper club gala with Ben for the first time. This year we made a return appearance. We had so much fun this year. The event was held this year at the Dallas Petroleum Club. The club has a great view of downtown Dallas and was a great place to have the event. The party was spread out into different rooms. Ben and I saw a lot of friends at the party which is a lot of fun as always, to catch up. There was pretend black jack and gambling and I played some black jack, which was a popular game and there were several tables set up. Also, they had some food there which was great. Ben and I had eaten before we went but had some snacks there too. The party was very well attended. Also, they had a silent auction which had some great stuff. Ben and I did not give any card information, so we just looked around. Some of my favorites were: Diamond stud earrings, diamond loop earrings, a Texas flag from a long time ago, and the 5 night Paris trip. Ben's favorite was the 5 night Paris trip, and for kicks the Brittany Spears concert tickets. Neither Ben or myself are big fans of Brittany, so that made it more funny. Ben and I stayed until a little after 12:30, the party ended at 1. There were many people that left as we did, we got there at 9:30 or so, so we spent a great amount of time.
