This weekend was full of fun things. It started out on Saturday with the Texas OU game. Then went on to the SMU Navy game. The game started out with some amazing things. First we saw several people parachuting onto the field with the American flag and it was just really neat. Then, the Navy had a fly by of aircrafts that was just aww-inspiring, words can not describe it. By far the coolest thing that I have seen. President Bush and Laura Bush tossed the coin to begin the game. The game was well played by both sides.

Sunday, Ben and I went to see the opening of the new performing arts center in downtown Dallas. It was amazing to see all the new buildings. We went inside the opera house and watched a few performances and then continued to walk around. For lunch, we went to the DMA and then walked around to see an exhibit. After that we tried to catch a show at Booker T Washington school, but were unable to get in, so we went to the Nasher center to see the Art and Architecture exhibit. It was really cool to see models of buildings that I had been to in London. After a long day, we headed home.

I was at dinner on Travis when the jets flew over for the SMU/Navy game. They were sooooooo loud. Everyone in the restaurant just stopped and stared at each other. It is scary when you aren't expecting it!
