Wind Down Wednesday's

Last night, Ben and I went to the DCC's wind down Wednesday's event. This event has been going on for a few years and is on Wednesdays maybe 6 times a year or so. They highlight a different band or musician each time and have repeats as well. Last night was Owen Temple. He is a Texas Country music singer who lives in Austin. He is also, married to my cousin, a little known fact. Ben and I always love to go and see him and have seen him at several venues  over the past couple of years. So, when I saw Owen was coming to DCC I was very excited about seeing him again. We had not seen him play in a while. Also, Owen has a new CD out that will be out on itunes soon called: Mountain Home. Ben and I got a copy last night. Owen played many new and old songs. My favorite one is Tennessee Highway from one of his first albums. I loved hearing the new songs and listening to all of them and seeing how far Owen has come musically.
