Yesterday, B and I went to the State Fair of Texas. We met up with his parents there too. It was so much fun to go. After the weather on Saturday, I was not sure we would be able to go, but it was a beautiful day! Last year, Big Tex caught on fire after we saw him and has now been rebuilt bigger and better. I had seen photos and video of him and was not quite sure about it. however, as we saw him in person he looked great. There is a new "voice" of Big Tex this year and sounds just as familiar as the one before.
We took lots of photos with the new cool professional camera. We also went and saw the new cars, the dog show, and went on the pirate ship ride. We also went and saw the Big Tex exhibit at the Hall of State. I loved seeing the old Big Tex's head. They had a really cool documentary video that I wanted to stay and watch but, we did not have time to see it. Maybe we will just have to go back.
Can't wait to go back again and have another corny dog, and see more attractions.
