Dealey and Trevor's wedding weekend

This labor day weekend was Dealey and Trevor's wedding. The weekend was kicked off on Thursday, with a party with the Hamburger man. The hamburger man has been around forever. What he does is he comes and sets everything up that is needed and grills the hamburgers, chicken and anything else you want in the back. The party was a huge success and everyone enjoyed the selection of: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, veggie burgers and chicken. As the party went on we got to watch a beautiful lightening storm that with in an hour or so started to poor down.

Friday, started off with a fun bridesmaids lunch. Everyone had a great time and that is when Dealey handed out the bridesmaids and flower attendant's gifts. She picked out beautiful pearl necklaces and ear rings that went great with the dresses. Then everyone left and met back up at the church for the rehearsal and then went on to rehearsal dinner at Mattito's where we had excellent food and saw a great slide show all about Dealey and Trevor growing up. A lot of work went into making the event so special for Dealey and Trevor.

Saturday the wedding day all of the bridesmaids and attendants met up at the hotel to start the process of getting ready for a 5 pm wedding. We had our hear done and then all went back to the hotel and hung out with Dealey as she got ready. Then we took a shuttle from the hotel to the church. We had to be there by 3 or so and got there about 2:15 and just hung out some more and got ready for our pictures. I had so much fun meeting new people and was honored to be in the wedding too. Then the wedding began at five, but not with out a few people that were running a little late rushing by us. Then, the wedding began. After the wedding we went on to take more pictures with everyone and then went on to the reception.

The reception was so much fun, it was at the Aldridge house on Swiss avenue. We did a few more pictures on the way in and then got to see everyone at the rehearsal and relax. There was a photo booth where you could get pictures taken and then a table next to it where you could paste a picture on and write something to the bride and groom. Then they cut the cakes and had the first dance all early, which is great. Then, Dealey finally through the flowers. She told me she was trying to aim for me, but I did not get them, her sister Amy, the maid of honor got them instead. But, I was a close second. Then Dealey and Trevor went on their way.

All and all it was a great time with many memories that will last all a lifetime.
