pre-marital class

On Sunday B and I stared our first pre-marital class at HPUMC entitled from this day forward. The class is pretty small about 7 other couples and three teachers. At the beginning of the class we had an overview of the class and were given a binder for the class. After this, we were split up girls in one room and the guys left the room. During this time we played the newlywed game where we had to answer questions about our soon to be spouse. They were easy questions such as their name and what they did for a living, as well as when and where we were getting married. The tricky question was the ring size. A lot of the guys were uncertain if this meant the size on your finger or the size of the diamond. When every one got back then we went around the room and shared this information, it was a get to know you kinda thing. Then the teachers talked about the purpose of marriage seen through the bible. They posed a few questions for everyone to answer. I think this will be a great class and make us stronger together and we will learn things that I am sure will help us for years to come.
